Brand

Brand guide

Welcome to the Jarmin brand guide. It covers our mark, logo, colors, and typography, and the rules that come with them. Please work from this guide whenever you are making something that carries the Jarmin name.

Everything here is cleared for use as published. Any external use of our brand also has to be consistent with our Terms of Service, including what they say about our intellectual property, and nothing on this page grants rights beyond that.

Email press@jarmin.ai with any questions about these guidelines, or if you need a format that is not here.

Mark

The Jarmin mark is three overlapping rounded forms arranged as a triad, drawn in the three colors of our accent gradient and blended where they meet. The three forms stand for the parts of a role we take on together, and the overlaps for the fact that they are one employee rather than three separate tools.

Logo

Our logo is the mark combined with the word Jarmin, set in our body font at regular weight. It comes as a horizontal lockup and a stacked one. Use the light version on dark backgrounds and the dark version on light ones.

Single color

The mark depends on its three colors, so when they cannot reproduce it becomes a single flat silhouette instead. Use these for one-color print, embroidery, and engraving, and on photographs busy enough that the full-color mark stops reading.

Social

Each platform crops its own way, and a banner sized for one is cut badly by another. These are built to each platform's current dimensions with the mark kept clear of the edges.

Color

Jarmin runs in two themes: dark, and a light theme we call porcelain. The accent gradient is identical in both and is the only place brand color appears, which is what keeps it reading as ours. Please do not deviate from these values when representing Jarmin.

Type

Jarmin sets everything in Inter, a typeface built for screens and chosen for how cleanly it holds up at small sizes. We turn on four of its alternate glyphs, which give the single-storey a and the straight-tailed y our wordmark is drawn from. Setting Inter without them changes how the name looks.

Using the logo

Do

  • Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the mark, so it never crowds other elements.
  • Use the light logo on dark backgrounds and the dark logo on light ones.
  • Reproduce the mark at 24px or larger. Below that the three forms stop separating and it reads as a single blob.
  • Write the name as Jarmin: capital J, lowercase rest, one word.

Do not

  • Recolor the mark or apply the gradient to the word Jarmin. The gradient belongs to the mark.
  • Stretch, rotate, or add effects such as shadows, outlines, or bevels.
  • Rebuild the lockup by placing the mark and wordmark yourself. The spacing is set, so use the lockup files.
  • Place the logo on a background that leaves it low contrast, including a busy photograph. Use the single-color mark instead.
